Wayne Rooney was born on October 24, 1985. He is known worldwide by people who love football. He is, of course, the Manchester United striker, and England. He will be a player to watch that Rooney was born in Liverpool. He grew up supporting local club Everton. He signed for Everton schoolboys when he was ten. Rooney has established himself as a world-class player at Man Utd. He has broken many records in his time there and played with a lot of players. His signing fee of £ 25.6 million is still a world record for a teenager. He helped United to win three league titles and two League Cup Champions League title in 2007-08. He also won England's Footballer of the year in 2010.

He is still the most feared striker in the premier league. Fergusun considers him as the best striker England has ever produced in some time now. He is compared to the French legend Eric Cantonna. The chip shot used Wayne Rooney is his best weapon that has never failed him from scoring. He scored the best goal of FA Cup history last year against Portsmouth with a beautiful lob which was watch by James.

Rooney made his debut for England in 2003. She shot to world fame in the UEFA Euro 2004 tournament, where he scored two goals. He has established himself as the first choice striker in England and is sure to be a threat to any defence in South Africa. He hopes to have a very different experience of the Germany 2006 World Cup, when he was sent for a foul on a Portuguese Defender.
